MARRAKECH – DRAA VALLEY – MHAMID DUNES – CHEGAGA DUNES-MARRAKECH
Day 1: Marrakech – Tamdakhte – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Agdz – Zagora-M ‘hamid
At 8h30 the morning, departure in 4×4 to M’hamid through the pass of Tizi-N-Tichka, continue to join the kasbah of Tamdakhte and Ait Ben Haddou in Ouarzazate. Departure to Zagora, en route sightseeing of Agdz, panoramic view over the valley of the Draa, continuing along the valley until Tanskhirt end of the runway. M’hamid direction on the road Tamgrout stop for a tour of the Koranic library, the kasbah groundwater and manufacture of pottery. Continue to arrival at the bivouac M’hamid El Mezouaria, installation, dinner around the fire in its folklore Sahraoui, night in tents.
Day 2: M’hamid – Sacred Oasis – Chegaga
After breakfast, ride a camel for 1h and then start with a 4×4 track to the big sandy dunes Chegaga, the largest dunes in Morocco, lunch under the shade of palm trees or tamarisk, post – twelve o’clock resumed to the track Chegaga. Arrival at Bivouac of Chegaga to assisted to the sunset, dinner and overnight in tents or under the stars.
Day 3: Chegaga – Lake Iriqui – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakech
Departure for Marrakech via the track between Erg Chegaga and the dry Draa riverbed, passing by Lake Iriqui, then Foum Zguid, and on to Taznakht. Return to Marrakech. Photo stops are planned during the day between Taznakht and Marrakech. Arrival time 19.00 hrs
