Experience a traditional nomadic life / 2 days / 1 night
Day 1: M’hamid – Erg Mezouaria
A perfect two day trip to the desert from Marrakech, Ouarzazate or Mhamid. The trip to our village M’hamid is not included. Experience traditional nomadic life. This tour starts from Mhamid, the “Gate of the desert”,and brings you to the real desert where you will experience a traditional nomadic life. The camel ride will take you through beautiful parts of the Sahara in the closer periphery of Mhamid, including small sand dunes (Erg), tamarisk trees and stone desert (hammada). After a nice camel walk we will have a lunch break under a large tamarisk tree.
Here you can relax while drinking Moroccan tea before we continue on to the deep desert to encounter nomad tribes and experience their unique world, traditions and customs. In the late afternoon we’ll reach our bivouac at El Mezouaria in the middle of the sand dunes, where you’ll enjoy a traditional dinner and listen to local music around the campfire. Overnight in tents.
Day 2: Erg Mezouaria – M’hamid
Admire an unforgettable sunrise with morning breeze and enjoy breakfast served in our Restaurant or in the open air before we go back to the village of Mhamid, where arrival is expected around 11.00 am.
Tarif: 125,00 euro p.p.
Included in the price:
- camel ride, 1 camel per person,
- overnight accommodation in tents in our bivouac El mezouaria,
- lunch, dinner, and breakfast and water.
Departure: 9:00 hrs from Mhamid.
Arrival: 11.00 hrs next morning.
Free for children under the age of 4.
Everything included except drinks.
The trip to our village M’hamid is not included.
